In Stoob, a new central headquarters for Burgenland state's road maintenance department was built on behalf of Landesimmobilien Burgenland GmbH (LIB). The complex includes an administration building and a hall with central warehouse, workshop and truck inspection station.
Additionally, roof parking, heated and unheated garages, a petrol station, salt silos including brine mixing system and wash stations were built on the approx. 25,440 m² premises.
In total, the new headquarters will provide a workplace for around 110 employees.
A new transformer a supplies the headquarter with energy in conjunction with the solar panel system. Heat is provided by a woodchip incineration system. When it comes to the vehicles, there was the prioritization of electric charging stations. Construction began in late 2021 and commissioning took place in the summer of 2024. A special feature of this project is its BIM planning which served to coordinate the planning process with its building data model and will furthermore be used in the facility management area.
