52 m girder for the Osijek Exhibition Center

For the construction of the new business and exhibition center in Osijek, girders up to 52 m long were delivered from Hermagor to Croatia. In total, more than 700 m³ of glulam made the journey to the south for the construction of a 40,000 m² multifunctional exhibition hall.

Universal finger joint certified
In order to achieve such a length, the HASSLACHER Group site in Hermagor was comprehensively certified with regard to the production and bonding of universal finger joints in accordance with EN 14080.

Beams made of composite components
In addition, these beams are block-bonded over their entire length - in other words, they are a composite component in accordance with EN 14080. At the HASSLACHER Group site in Hermagor, a dedicated hydraulic press with high pressing pressure is available for these composite components. A MUF adhesive is used with the advantage of the transparent and therefore hardly visible adhesive joint
