An existing apartment building from the 1950s was demolished and replaced by a new building with three spacious living units and two small units in the basement. In addition to the known environmental benefits, the main reasons for building in timber were the regional building tradition on the lake, the atmospheric effect, the building physics and structural advantages and the short construction time.
