The new school building in Jesenice near Prague was equipped with three units. The school needed a large and a smaller gymnasium and the school canteen also had to be adjusted in size due to the increasing number of students. For these additions and new buildings, the roofs were made of glued laminated timber, partly made of glulam special components for primary girders and solid structural timber for secondary girders. The connection of the wooden elements was mostly made with standard steel parts, which were delivered pre-assembled to the construction site in Jesenice.
