The pedestrian bridge in the Garnitzenklamm gorge near Hermagor is approximately 23 m long but at the same time weighs only 4,500 kg. This was necessary as on-site assembly of the bridge was impossible because of the difficult terrain. Instead, the entire bridge was prefabricated in the factory and flown with a Kamov twin-rotor helicopter into the Garnitzenklamm gorge where it was installed by specialists.
