Around 70 m3 of cross-laminated timber was used for the grandstand and the new club house. The roof supporting structure consisting of glue laminated timber of strength class GL28h was produced in Sachsenburg. It was cut and jointed exactly to size and delivered directly to the construction site. The grandstand structure is unique because it consists of glue laminated timber made of larch. This ensures excellent durability of the structure with the incomparable look of larch. Surfaced rhombus profiles were used for the wooden façade. The were fitted by Holzbau Zauchner, a local carpentry business.
